The First 47.7 All New Design by Bruce Farr Beneteau has added another impeccable design to the First Series line-up. The all new Beneteau First 47.7 combines a sleek and sophisticated racer with all the comforts of a luxurious cruiser. Her Bruce Farr designed hull and powerful rig provide excellent performance, whether you're racing or cruising.

The First 47.7 follows the footsteps of the highly successful First 40.7 with interior styling of the exemplary First 45f5. Impeccable in detail and elegant in design, the 47.7 is fast, fun and easy to handle. You have a choice of two rigs - racing and cruising and three keels - deep lead (9 feet), standard lead (7.5 feet) and a custom lead (approx. 6 feet). Whether raced equipped to go offshore or around the buoys, the First 47.7 will be showing its transom to the competition.

The First 47.7 cockpit design is extraordinary. The large wheel allows the helmsman to sit comfortably on the coaming with an unobstructed view forward. Features include teak slatted inlaid seats and plenty of room to mount electronics on the steering pedestal and cockpit coaming. The traveler is conveniently located near the helm for optimal boom and mainsheet control.

A folding swim platform retracts easily conforming to the sleek lines of the boat when racing. Not only will the First 47.7 shine on the race course, she is also fully equipped for comfortable cruising. The plush interior offers many exquisite details. The warm tones of cherry stained interior greet you as you enter the salon and there is plenty of ventilation accented by the 6'4" feet of headroom. Luxurious appointments such as handrails sheathed in leather, a gimbaled salon table that can be tilted when heeling, and companionway steps framed with aluminum create a unique atmosphere of beauty and intimacy. All of these details are designed specifically to meet the high demands of the sophisticated Beneteau sailor. You have the option of choosing a 2, 3 or 4 cabin layout. Each configuration has large berths, hanging closets, and functional lighting. The forward cabin suite has a private head, port settee and plenty of room for storage in lockers along the side of the hull and under the berth. The nav station faces forward with a large chart table and cubby hole storage for charts and instruments. The galley is fully equipped with a large front-loading refrigerator, 3-burner stove, and loads of counter space. All of this is combined with custom cabinetry and the exceptional interior joinery that is the Beneteau signature.

The First 47.7 is designed to be a true bluewater performance yacht. She has all the characteristics Beneteau is known for - 360 degree bonded bulkheads, vinylester osmosis barrier and the end-grain balsa "sandwich" deck construction. As with all boats in the Beneteau family, the First 47.7 provides exceptional quality, performance and value. You can see the all-new First 47.7 at the Annapolis Boat Show this fall!
